During heavy monsoons, the overflowing rivers do find new routes and change course over time. These waterfalls are dry except for periods of heavy rain or after snow melts in the spring. These are known as seasonal waterfalls and exploring them amidst the jungle is always exciting. The July-September is a period of south-west monsoon and it brings heavy rain into western ghats and north India.
