Serolsar Lake, is like a hidden treasure in the lap of the Himalayas.

To get there, you have to go on a 6 km trek from Jalori Pass, which is a normal kind of trek.

The walk is through a thick cover of Kharshoo Oak trees, and the lake itself is at an altitude of 3,100 meters. Can you believe it? That’s like being on top of the world, literally! But wait, there’s more! The lake is believed to have medicinal properties, so who knows, maybe a dip in the lake could fix all your health issues.

And while you’re at it, don’t forget to visit the temple devoted to Goddess Budhi Nagin, who is like the guardian angel of the place. It’s said that the Goddess has a hundred sons.

Now, I won’t lie to you, the trek can be a little tiring, but it’s totally worth it. And hey, here’s a pro tip from someone who learned the hard way: When you’re walking back, take the upper route instead of the lower one. Trust me, your knees will thank you! All in all, if you’re up for a little adventure and some breathtaking views, then Serolsar Lake is the place to be. So pack your bags, and get ready to witness the glory of the Himalayas!
