Deodari Waterfalls is in Chandraprabha wild life sanctuary and 65 kilometers from Varanasi.
The waterfall is surrounded by the magnificent Vindhya ranges, are a visual feast for the eyes with their crystal clear waters cascading down the rugged terrain, reminiscent of a miniature version of the Grand Canyon.
The approach road takes you to the top of the waterfall where you can enjoy a breathtaking view. Monsoon season is the ideal time to visit, but if you’re visiting during winter, you’ll get to enjoy comfortable weather and decent water flow. The Chandraprabha river feeds the waterfalls and there is a dam upstream which controls the water flow. Just a heads up, be careful during sudden water releases from the dam as it can result in increased water levels making it difficult to cross the river stream.
