Kumbhavurutty Falls is another famous waterfalls in Kollam district near Achankovil in Kerala. The waterfalls is set amidst the Konni forest area. One has to take the Achankovil road and trek for 500 meters inside the lushgreen forest to reach the waterfalls. The water drops from a height of 10 meter which is a spectacular sight. There are also other waterfalls in the area – Megha falls, Manalar Falls etc., If one is lucky, one can spot wild animals around the waterfalls area.
