Shivasamudram Waterfalls is a large waterfalls near Bangalore in Karnataka. It is largely known as Barachukki and Gaganchukki waterfalls. The entire area is a rocky terrain with the Cauvery river jumping across different rocks forming myriad waterfalls in the region.
The waterfalls have a width of over 300 meters and falling over 300 feet is a spectacular sight. It is a perennial waterfall, though it will be majestic to visit post monsoon in July.
It is a popular tourist spot, so there are many sign boards as well as other tourist facilities are available.
