Spread Eagle Falls is in East Khasi District, 6km from Shillong Cantonment in Meghalaya.

It will be an adventure which will lead you more than 20 minutes of a wild goose chase to look upon the widest waterfall.

The scintillating waterfall is also known as Sati Falls or Urkaliar because of the belief that Ka Liar slipped into it. The majestic waterfall gushes down steep hills, towering three sides into a massive pool of water which is ideal for the tourists to sit and longe by.

The Spread Eagle Falls, which looks an eagle with its wings spread wide (hence the name), is a popular picnicking site amongst the locals of the region.
