Aanaivaari Muttal Waterfalls is another seasonal waterfalls near Salem, where it is known only to locals. It is near the Kalvarayan hills range and the waterfalls stream is a part of Vashista river. There is Muttal lake upfront, which has got boating facilities too. It is well maintained and the location is very scenic with the backdrop of hills.
There is also a children park.
