Periyar Falls is a seasonal water stream near Kalvarayan Hills near Salem in Tamil Nadu. It is a water stream falling over rocky boulders of 30 feet before joining the Gomukhi dam. There are couple of other water falls too in this forest range which are seasonal and known to locals. The entry ticket for adults is INR 20/- and for kid it is INR 10/- It is a good picnic spot to spend half a day with nature.
