Godchinamalaki Falls is a wide waterfalls which flows in two tiers in north Karnataka. The Markendaya river falls over 10 feet of rocky terrain creating beautiful cascades during monsoon here. There are lot of water pools to enjoy bathing.
It is a nice picnic spot too. One has to walk around 200 meters from parking to reach this place. Though there are few shops, it is better one brings own snacks and drinks from elsewhere. It is a good place to observe sun set and provides a lot of photo opportunities with rock cliffs. Avoid going near the edge of such cliffs.
