Tyrshi Falls is a hidden gem, just off the Jowai-Shillong Road in Meghalaya. One can get off the main road after Thadlaskein to enjoy a quick trip. The place Jowai is full of waterfalls.

This cascading beautiful walls can be reached by climbing over 2,000 stairs of an arched bridge.

But don’t worry, the views of the Pynthor Nein paddy fields along the way will be worth the workout. And, just in case you need some added motivation, this waterfall stands three times taller than Shillong’s Elephant Falls. So, pack your cameras and get ready to capture some majestic shots, just don’t get too close or you’ll be drenched. Happy hiking!
