Garud Chatti waterfall in Rishikesh is in heart of a jungle.

It is considered as one of the majestic falls. and is near the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple.

But before you get too excited, let me tell you, the trek to the waterfall is about 4 to 5 km long, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry plenty of water. And if you’re not in a group, keep your eyes watchful for any mischievous monkeys.

Once you reach Garud Chatti waterfall, you’ll be blown away by its beauty. Despite being small, it attracts a lot of attention, especially among foreign tourists. During the monsoons, the water flows in seven different levels, creating a mesmerizing sight.

And here’s a little tip for you adventurous souls out there. Phool Chatti waterfall is located about 3 km away from Garud Chatti, and it’s too, worth a visit. You can reach this smaller waterfall by trekking, and it’s a great way to spend a couple of hours.

So pack your bags, grab your friends, and hire a jeep en route to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple to experience the beauty of Garud Chatti, Phool Chatti, and Patna waterfalls.
