Dugarwadi waterfall is 30 kilometres from Nashik on Trimbakeshwar tourist circuit in Maharashtra.

First of all, let me tell you, the road to the waterfall is not for the faint of heart. You’ll have to tread through the nearby jungles of Trimbak, off the main roads, which can be a little tricky. But trust me, the luscious charismatic view on every side of the road is worth a watch. The road to the waterfall offers exquisiteness at every turn, and one never knows what they might experience next.

When you finally reach the parking area, make sure to strike a pose against the fall and spot some endangered birds. The best part? Tourists are barely aware of this place, so there’s a possibility that you might face fewer crowds. Hooray for avoiding the hustle and bustle of overcrowded tourist spots!

To reach the actual pond, you will have to trek downhill for approximately 15-20 minutes. Don’t forget to take extreme caution during monsoon season, as the water level suddenly rises. But hey, you’re not one to shy away from adventure, are you?

Now, let me give you a heads up on what to expect during the trek to the falls. Families can reach safely to a certain point, but to experience the real adventure, you’ll have to take the descending route to the falls. It can be a bit slippery and crowded during the rainy season. And let me tell you, while descending, you’ll feel like it’s going to be a quiet lot of work to get back up the hill. But hey, nothing worth experiencing ever comes easy, right?

Once you reach the river-like flow, you have to cross it, and the force of water pushes you back. So, make sure to cross it safely. Then, you can walk each step nearer to the fall through some rocky patches and cross the flow. Do go in groups, if you are with girls!
