Amboli Waterfalls is there in all its glory is located in the picturesque hill station of Amboli in Maharashtra.

At a height of 690 meters above sea level, this eco-spot is a must-visit for nature lovers, and the waterfall itself is a true gem that attracts tourists from all over the world. It’s an ideal pit-stop for a long drive from Pune to Karnataka or Goa, and let me tell you, the journey is worth it!

The waterfall is nestled in the Sahyadri Hills and is surrounded by greenery and other breathtaking waterfalls. It’s the perfect place to relax, take in the stunning views and cool off in the clean waters of the falls. Just be sure to get there early to avoid the crowds, because once it gets busy, it can be chaotic.

But fear not, my friends! There are plenty of local vendors selling delicious food, including Sabudana Vada, Onion Bhaji and roasted bhutta. And let’s not forget the classic Maggi noodles and hot tea. Yum!

The best time to visit is during the monsoon season between June and July, when the waterfalls are in their prime and the water is gushing. Just be careful on those rocks, as they can get pretty slippery.

Don’t forget to take advantage of the Gram Panchayat’s changing rooms for a nominal fee of INR 10 per person. And if you’re wondering how to get there, private taxis and autos are the only local modes of transportation available.

So, my dear travelers, put Amboli Waterfalls on your bucket list and prepare to be amazed! Just don’t visit on holidays unless you’re a fan of crowds. And remember, there’s parking available on one side of the road, so you can bring your own wheels without worrying about the parking hustle. Happy travels!
