Monkey Falls is a water stream on Western Ghats near Aliyar Dam on the way to Valparai in Tamil Nadu. As you proceed on the ghat section towards Valparai, you will find few streams of water falling over the mountain during monsoons. Monkey falls is one of the larger streams with pools of water which collects later in Aliyar dam. There are facilities like changing room, parking area and security to avoid any mishaps. It is a good place for family picnics.
