Anamalai Wild Life Sanctuary is near Udumalapet and Coimbatore town in Tamil Nadu. It can be accessed from Pollachi or via Udumalapet town. Then entry into the forest area is restricted. However, one can get permits to enter forest at a cost of INR 120/-. There are also many private resorts inside and outside the reserve, who can organize safari and other adventure activities.
To visit the forest, one can reach Sethumadai via Anaimalai and Pollachi and take Parambikulam road.
The wildlife reserve is one of the best forest range to observe wild life. There is also an option of elephant safari .
