Chitraruvi is a another branch of waterfall on the western ghats among the famous Courtrallam area. It is near Thenkasi town in Thirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu.
During season of October-December, it is always crowded and one can enjoy the water even during late evening. It is inside the Mooligaivanam – (meaning Medicinal Herb Forest). For those who find the main falls, a bit scary can enjoy the Chitraruvi. There are easy steps along the road up to the falls.
