Kowdiar Palace is in Thiruvananthapuram city in Kerala. It was built during 1934 and is a luxurious palace with 150 room with wonderful architecture, wooden work and paintings.
However, only a part of it is allowed for visitors. It has a wooden lift. You need to get special permission to visit it.
Since it is near to Napier musuem, one can try it and view the palace from outside or wait for public occassions like Maharaja’s death anniversary and schools and colleges can visit like a cultural site all after receiving an invitation.
