Shakthan Thampuran Palace is in the heart of the town Thrissur in Kerala. It was built by King Ramavarma of Kochi in the year 1795. This palace is also converted into a museum in the year 2005.
It houses bronze artefacts of 12th to 18th centuries, sculptures, coin collections of Roman period of 5th century. It also has coins of Indo-Dutch period, French period of Malabar region and also of British period.
