Crocodile Rehabilitation and Research Centre is a crocodile park used for rehabitation and breeding centre for crocodiles. It lies in Neyyar dam road near Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. There is also a elephant rehabitation park Kottur Elephant Orphanage few kilometers away. So you can plan visit for both.

Some of the crocodiles bred are released into Neyyar dam and hence the dam site and waters are considered to be infested with crocodiles, so any venturing into such spots could be dangerous. There is also a boat ride on the Neyyar dam to spot the crocodiles. The boat ride is safe with life-jackets and is operated by government agencies. The cost of the boat ride is INR 660 for a 6 seater boat. It is a good way to spot wild animals, if you are lucky.

The crocodile park have around 40 crocodiles which could be seen at their naturalistic setting – lazing around.
