The fort is located about 16 kilometers away from Satara city and is a protected monument, The fort is open for visitors from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

The fort was built as a defensive and residential construction, but now it serves as a monument for visitors to appreciate. It’s pretty spacious and has two main gates, and you’ll have to climb a set of 100 stairs to reach the main door.
