Thiruvananthapuram Zoo is one of the oldest and best zoo in India.
It was developed by Swathi Thirunal, the legendary king vision as a botanical garden and zoo during the 19th century. Later, it was patronized by the British. Later, at the end of 20th century in 1995, the zoo was modernized replacing iron cages with open air naturalistic enclosures.
The zoo is home to over 82 species and it covers over 55 acres of land. Some of its attractions are Anacondas, Girafees, White tiger etc., You can also look at varieties of trees.
