Kannur Mangroves is a wetland ecosystem formed with drain of Anjarkandy river and backwaters of the Arabian Sea. It has formed a few less than a square kilometer of islands which are covered as mangrove forest.
It is not a touristy site and normally explored only by nature enthusiast. They can hire a boat ride to observe birds from the river.
