Tellicherry Fort or Thalassery Fort is in Kannur district in Kerala. It is fort built by British East India company during 18th century. It was built facing the sea at a height of 10 meters. It was constructed to protect a British factory(bronze coins manufacturing) and the fort was built around it. During those times, Thalaserry Fort was the centre of development of that era.
The visitors can have fun exploring the gigantic walls, massive, intricately carved doors and secret tunnels. One can also enjoy the cool breeze from Arabian sea.
