Alakapuri Falls is near the Karnataka -Kerala border inside the Kerala territory. The waterfalls is a seasonal one and can be covered during north Kerala trip while covering Kasargod. The place is lush green and remote thereby allow one to be with nature. The Valapattanam river also flows nearby. The valley on the otherside is Bramhaigiri Wildlife sanctuary. It is a beautiful place and a must visit place. Avoid weekends, there will be crowds.
