Kaggaladu Bird Sanctuary is near the Kaggaladu lake near Sira town in Karnataka. The unfortunate part here is the lake goes dry in summer, leaving birds in lurch. So, if you plan a visit, do it during winter months – January-February migratory season. During that time, there will be water as well as some migratory birds.
