Government Museum of Pudukkottai is a district museum maintained by archaeology department of the state. It is one of the oldest museum started in 1910 and is has many sections. It also has a collection of books. It has the largest collection in Numismatics of around 3000+ ancient coins.
It also has an impressive collection of zoology and anthropology.
There is also an art gallery which displays paintings.
