Railway Heritage Centre is a beautiful museum depicting history of Indian Railways in Trichy. The museum is near the Trichy Railway junction and it displays old steam locomotives and photographs of yester era of railways. It also displays major components of rail engine, their workings and other memorabilia.
The entry fee for this museum is INR 10/-
There is also a five minute rail ride inside the museum. Some of the major attractions wooden bogies of yester era and some vintage cars.
