Pallipuram Fort is one of the oldest European architectural building in India. It is said to be constructed during 1503. It is located on northern part of Vypeen Island. It has a unique hexagonal building, now without a roof. There is also small well within the fort, to provide fresh water. It was constructed using lime, laterite and wood. Now the building is protected by Archeological Survey of India (ASI).
