Nagarjunsagar-Srisailam Tiger Reserve is the largest tiger reserve in India . The reserve spreads over five districts, Kurnool District, Prakasam District, Guntur District, Nalgonda District and Mahabub Nagar district. The total area of the tiger reserve is 3,728 km2 (1,439 sq mi).
One can cover this tiger reserve as a part of visit of Srisailam. The forest are dense and contains a lot of plateaus, lakes, tribal villages etc., The Nallamalla, Amrabad, Peddachevuru hill ranges are prominent.
Besides, the Krishna river cuts through this dense tiger reserve, making it a attractive jungle habitat. Unlike the other wildlife reserve, this one is not explored much.
Some prominent waterfalls around this reserve are Ethipothala Falls, Pedda Dukudu, Gundam and Chaleswaram.
