Karnataka has many wild life reserves across the thich forest cover on the western ghats. It has Dandeli and Mookambika wild life reserves in the north and Bandipur and Nagarhole in the south. There are more than 300 tigers estimated to live in these dense jungles.
Some of them are renowned bio diversity spots like Kudremukh.
