Hansa Beach is in South Goa. This beautiful beach that lies about 3 kms behind the Airport. It is a clean beautiful beach with pristine waters. However the beach is controlled by the Indian navy wing due to its location to close proximity to major naval installations in the area. The navy regularly cleans up the beach to ensure it remains spotless clean. However, only naval personnel and their families are allowed access to the beach while the general public is not allowed to visit the beach. Access to the beach is through the INS Hansa Naval base beside the Naval Aviation Museum
