Chintamoni Kar Bird Sanctuary

Chintamoni Kar Bird Sanctuary (CKBS)is in Narendrapur 16 kilometers south of Kolkatta.

This place is famous for birds, butterflies, ferns and orchids.

It is a good place for a days outing, if one is interested in nature and watching birds. It is a kind of mini jungle, where you can explore a little and observe reptiles, birds and small animals.

The entry ticket for adult is INR 120/-
