Burude Falls or Dodmane Falls is in thick of western ghats near Sirsi in Karnataka. It is the Aghnashini river falling over a height of 1300 feet over rocky boulders. It is a majestic sight to view the water gushing at rapid speed forming whirlpools around. The place is a good picnic spot, though little adventurous due to steep rocky steps, which needs careful negotiation.
