Bankapura Peacock Sanctuary is situated near the Banakpura fort premises near Hubli in Karnataka.
The ruined fort moat is around 36 kilometers long and 10-15 meters wide and 8 meters deep. It is covered with trees like neem, acacia and other regional shrubs. It provides the peacocks, an ideal place to hang out.
