Fort Thomas also known as Thangaserry fort is in Thangaserry in Kollam district in Kerala.

It is a ruined fort, but still looking magnificent in red bricks 3 storey tall on the sea shore. It has well maintained lawns and provides a brilliant photo ops. It was built by Portugese and later handed over to the Dutch. Later in 1875, the British took possession of the fort. Now, it is managed by Archaeological Society of India (ASI).

For the history lovers, it is a place once was buzzing port with ships from Europe and China. A few meters on the north is Thangaserry light house, which provides excellent view of the sea as well as the fort.
