Mysore Palace is one of grand palace in India. It is in Mysore around 150 kilometers west of Bangalore in Karnataka. Its construction was started during late 19th century and completed in 1912.

It is second popular destination in India, after Taj Mahal drawing over 6.0 million visitors per year.

The palace is built in Indo Sarcenic style with blend of Rajput, Hindu, Gothic and Mughal architecture. It is a three storey structure with 2 durbar halls, large open space and gardens.

It has 3 gates. The visitors can enjoy the opulent furniture of that era made of silver, sandalwood, ivory etc., There are also some brilliant paintings on display.

There is a electric car, which can take you around the large palace for a cost of INR 50/-
