Railway Museum, Mysore is near the Mysore railway station in the city.
It is a well maintained museum and a delight for rail enthusiasts. The main attraction here is Maharani’s coaches made in late 19th century.
It also displays refurbished steam engines, the ones which used to ply on the Mysore rail network in the steam era. Besides, it displays old railway signalling and other equipments of old era, bringing nostalgic memories.
There is also a toy train ride in the museum for FREE. Plus, you also have a cafeteria inside a railway coach.
