Folklore Museum is located in the campus of Jayalakshmi Vilas Mansion near Mysore University in Karnataka. The museum houses folk arts and crafts from all over Karnataka.
It has an impressive collection of 6500 unique memorabilia dedicated to dance, music, literature, art, puppets, props, masks, and other folk objects.
The museum building also has interesting architecture. The entry into this museum is FREE.
