Valara Falls is another waterfalls where one can view from main road. It is on Chillithodu on the Kochi-Madurai highway. It is on enroute to Munnar. The waterfalls is formed when Deviyar drops from a height of 190 feet and joins Thottiaru. It is near Cheeyapara waterfalls. The trek to bottom of the waterfalls is difficult without any trails. Unless you are an expert who can trek through lushgreen bushes without minding the consequences. There are plenty of shops nearby where you can enjoy your favorite drink and snack and enjoy the view.
