Uchangidurga Fort is a fort in ruins near Davangere in Karnataka. It should have been built during the Krishna Deva Raya period. There is a UchaniDurga temple on the hill top. The trekking above the fort hill is a nice experience. There are guarded rails to guide you. One can see the adventurers use this area for rock climbing on the fort ruins. Now, the area is taken over by Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). According to historians, the fort was built during 4 century.
