St Mary’s Island Beach is an island located just 2 kilometers from the coast of Malpe Beach. It is a touristy island with adventure sports and sight seeing around the island. One can take a boat ride from Udupi fishing harbour or from Malpe beach to reach St.Mary Island.
It will any thing between 2-3 hours to cover the island including travel. The rocks and formations here are unique and is known as columnar rhyolitic lava.
Now, there are some light refreshments, thatched roofs and other facilities available inside the island.
