Daria-Bahadurgad Fort is a small island of less than 0.16 square kilometers near Udupi in Karnataka. The island is beautiful with crystal clear water, panoramic views and beautiful rock formations as well as small stretch of sandy beach.
The island has the fort ruins of Bahadurgad Fort which was built by Basavappa Naik of Bidanur. There is also a mystery associated with the island fort as the treasure of the king was buried somewhere to escape from the invasion of Haider Ali during mid 18th century.
