Sri Sattainathar Temple is a Lord Shiva temple in Seergazhi in Nagapattinam district of Tamil Nadu. It is one of the padal petra sthalam and is 14th in the series.
The temple is also known as Brahmapureeswarar temple and Thoniappar temple. There are 22 water tanks. Seergazhi is an ancient town and is known by many names – Brahmapuram, Venupuram, Thonipuram, Kazhumalam, Pugali, Sirkazhiswaram and Shri Kali. It is also a 11th Shakti peetam. The temple has also Jeeva samadhi of Sattai Muni Sitthar.
The temple has large open grounds with three concentric walls. There are two seven tiered gopurams as well. The temple was reconstructed during 7th century and 13th century AD.
