Sanguthurai Beach is a little further west of Chothavilai beach. Both are calm beaches with white sand and coconut trees. It is less crowded and remote than the crowded beaches of Kanyakumari town. The beach is near Melkrishnaputhur.

There is also a watch tower near the beach.
