National Institute of Sports, Patiala

National Institute of Sports is in Patiala in Punjab.

It is housed in the Old Moti Bagh Palace, the former residence of Maharajas of the Princely State of Patiala.

This beautiful place is the ultimate sports haven in India, boasting vast green grounds, swimming pools, cycling and running tracks, and the best coaches in the biz. In fact, it’s where some of the best Olympians are produced.

It is also the academic wing of the Sports Authority of India and spread over 268 acres.
