Manikgad Fort is an ancient fort in Nagrala village in Chandrapur district in Maharashtra. The fort was built by Naga Kings -Mana Naga King – Gahilu during the period of 9th century AD. It was earlier known as on the name of the Naga God – Manikadevi  now known as Manikgad Fort. The fort is on a hilly terrain and somehow it is hidden from view till you reach the gate. There is also a old temple near the fort.
