Gudibande is an offbeat destination in Garuibiddanur on the outskirts of Bengaluru. The place of Gauribiddanur and Chikkaballabpur is known for rocky terrains taking you to a different world. The fort is believed to be constructed by alocal ruler Byre Gowda in 17th century.

The hike is moderate and can be enjoyed by everyone and another pleasant surprise is Lord Ventara Ramaswamy temple and Shiva temple is on the top. From the top, the view of Byrasagara lake is very beautiful. The fort has complex escape routes as well as many rock ponds for water harvesting.
