Gobindgarh Fort is a historic military fort located in the center of the city of Amritsar in Punjab.

Now, the fort is being developed as a museum and theme park, as a repository of Punjab’s history.

But this fort isn’t just a history lesson, it’s a playground for all ages!

Start off by catching the 7-D show, “Sher-e-Punjab,” which takes you on a journey through the life of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and transports you to the 19th century. Then, head over to the Coin Museum to see a collection of instruments and attires of warfare, as well as old and rare coins, including a replica of the Kohinoor as it was worn by the Maharaja.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! The “Spirit of Punjab” stage keeps the fort alive all day with live performances of bhangra, gatka, gidda, comedy, games, and dholi. And if you’re feeling peckish, Ambarsari Zaika offers a variety of delicious Amritsari and Punjabi cuisine.

Take a stroll through the well-located Haat Bazaar, where you can purchase phulkaris, juttis, shawls, and antiques. And once the sun sets, make sure to catch the “Whispering Walls” show, which uses art projection mapping technologies and laser lights to create a truly mesmerizing experience.

So grab your friends and family, and spend a day at Gobindgarh Fort. Trust us, it’s an experience you won’t want to miss!
