Fatehpur Sikri is Mughal era town and a palace /fort of Akbar near Agra in Uttar Pradesh.
The palace has an imposing gate called ‘Buland Darwaza’ at a height of 55 meters. It is known as Victory Arch built during 1955.
Inside the palace, there are beautiful courtrooms, the tomb of Salim Chisti made up of marble brackets.
The ponds, panch mahal are beautifully crafted for women in the palace.
