A local black magician fell in love with her and attempted to use black magic to make her fall in love with him. The princess suspected his intentions and foiled the plot by pouring the bewitched cosmetic on a boulder, which then crushed the magician to death. Before he died, he cursed the entire fort and its surroundings, causing it to be haunted ever since.
It is said that spirits roam the fort at night and strange noises can be heard. There are even tales of people who entered the fort at night and never returned. The ASI has banned entry to the fort from 6 PM to 6 AM, so be sure to plan your visit accordingly.
